    SPECIALIZED IN CUSTOM DESIGN AND SUPPLIES OF EQUIPMENT AND AUXILIARY SYSTEMS FOR SHIPS

    “

    One of the most important departments of GAUZÓN IBÉRICA is the Technical Department. Our multidisciplinary team has not only specialized in the design and integration of safety equipment, but also in the development of fundamental operating manuals for the maintenance and useful life of equipment and ships.

    Main Action Areas

    1. Design, supply, assembly and commissioning of Hi-Fog water mist fire extinguishing systems. We are the exclusive supplier for Spain and Portugal of the Finnish company Marioff.
    2. Drafting of Integrated Logistics Support documentation to maximize the availability and operational life of the ship:
      • Development of documentation to support the life cycle of ships.
      • Development of Maintenance Technical Analysis (MTA).
      • Development of Initial Support Proposal (ISP).
      • Development of Maintenance Files (PMS).
    3. Preparation of the General Documentation of the Ship:
      • Operation manuals for the different ship systems (engines and propulsion, power and electrical distribution, air conditioning, signaling, communications, etc.)
      • Internal Security Diagrams of the different ship systems (fire extinguishing, ballast, fuel, evacuation, etc.)
      • Development of Ship Operating Procedures.
    4. Crew Training:
      • Design of manuals and development of familiarization courses with ship systems for crews and maintenance teams.
    5. Cataloging in the NATO field (Code 2Y):
      • Denomination, classification, description and numbering of the articles that enter the supply systems of the Armed Forces.

    GAUZÓN IBÉRICA’s Technical Department works in constant coordination with the commercial team, with the aim of advising our clients on the best way to meet specific needs, either with custom designs or supplying auxiliary equipment and systems for military or civil vessels.
